Charis Bible School Of Gardner, MA Students 2012-2013
Charis Bible School of Gardner is all about changing lives. Our focus is to train and equip saints through in-depth studies of God’s word. Charis Bible School’s main focus is “equipping the saints for the work of the ministry.”
(Eph 4:12) We are training disciples to go out and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to a lost and dying world in the way God has uniquely called each individual.
God has purpose and a plan for every believer. We are all called to be a minister of christ; some are called to pastor, some to evangelize, some to prophesy, but we are all, as believers, called to go forth and make disciples! We at Charis believe effective ministry can only happen when we have a deeper understanding of who God is, and what our relationship is with Him
Once we understand the grace and love of God and our Identity in Him,we can make an effort impact in our world!
When you allow Christ to Change your life, you can’t help but change your world!
1St Year Bible Training.
Charis Bible School believes in the importance of academics, but those who are going into the ministry must know how to minister! We strive for a balance between Knowledge of scripture and practical ministry experience.
First-year courses including relationship with god, Basics of Righteousness, Receiving from God, and old Testament Survey to name a few. The curriculum was designated to give students a solid biblical foundation with an emphasis on faith, grace and walking with the Holy Ghost through the work of the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
In addition to classes, first-year students are required to volunteer in practical ministry either in a local church, Charis Bible School, or other CBS-approved ministries.
2nd Year Practical Ministry Training
The Second year builds upon the first with courses aimed at teaching you to share what you have learned with the world! The emphasis is on learning by doing.
Second-year course such as New Testament Survey, Ministry of Excellence,Discipleship Evangelism, and Making of a Minister further progress your training. In addition to regular classes, students also engage in Inter-Action groups (IAGs) small workshops designed to help you fine tune and practice skills such as public speaking, preparing teaching, prayer, etc.
Missions
All second-year students are required to go on a CBS planned mission trip as part of their requirement for graduation. We believe that mission trips are a valuable part of ministry training. students learn how to function as a team in a foreign culture and unfamiliar surroundings, as well as, how to share the Gospel and communicate through an interpreter. These are life-Changing trips. Even if you don’t plan to minister on foreign fields, these trips will expand your world vision and grant you insight to help those who are called to mission.
3rd Year - Ministry Training
The third- year Ministry Training is for students called into five- fold ministry position of apostles, prophets, pastors, teachers and evangelists,as well as, those called to the ministry of helps and worship.
Some of the other Charis campus locations offer specialized training in areas such as School of Ministry, School of Worship,School of Media or School of Business.

My child, never forget the things I have taught you.Store my commands in your heart. If you do this, you will live many years, and your life will be satisfying.Never let loyalty and kindness leave you!Tie them around your neck as a reminder.Write them deep within your heart. Then you will find favor with both God and people, and you will earn a good reputation.Trust in the Lord with all your heart;do not depend on your own understanding.Seek his will in all you do,and he will show you which path to take.Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom.Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.
Then you will have healing for your body and strength for your bones. (Prov 3:1-8)

I love the word of God,for I have found Psalm 119:105 to be true on more than one occasion. There the psalmist declares,"Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light into my path."The word "lamp" in the Hebrew refers to prosperity and the word "light" refers to illumination, enlightenment, cheerfulness and happiness. It could be said of the one who daily embraces the word of God that one walks in true prosperity of like which results in a life filled with cheerfulness and happiness through the enlightenment of God's Word. What I have found is that the Word of God gives me direction and peace in the midst of a sometimes storm tossed life.As you embrace God's word through this issue of "The Word for you Today," may you find that when faced with some difficulty in life, God's Word is truly a lamp unto your feet and a light unto your path. Striving to Know Him.

I have traveled on many long journeys. I have faced danger from rivers and from robbers. I have faced danger from my own people, the Jews, as well as from the Gentiles. I have faced danger in the cities, in the deserts, and on the seas. And I have faced danger from men who claim to be believers but are not. I have worked hard and long, enduring many sleepless nights. I have been hungry and thirsty and have often gone without food. I have shivered in the cold, without enough clothing to keep me warm.

I tell you the truth, anyone who sneaks over the wall of a sheepfold, rather than going through the gate, must surely be a thief and a robber! But the one who enters through the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep recognize his voice and come to him. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. After he has gathered his own flock, he walks ahead of them, and they follow him because they know his voice. They won’t follow a stranger; they will run
from him because they don’t know his voice.”Those who heard Jesus use this illustration didn’t understand what he meant, so he explained it to them: “I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. All who came before me were thieves and robbers. But the true sheep did not listen to them. Yes, I am the gate. Those who come in through me will be saved. They will come and go freely and will find good pastures. The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.

No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord,And their righteousness is from Me,”Says the Lord.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. So we will not fear when earthquakes come and the mountains crumble into the sea.Let the oceans roar and foam.Let the mountains tremble as the waters surge!

The word of God is alive and active,Sharper than a two edge sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and Spirit, joints and Marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitude of the heart .(Hebrews 4:12)
What Shall we say about such wonderful things as these? if God is for us, Who can be against us? (Romans 8:28)
Do not love this world nor the things it offers you for when you
love the world, you do not have the love of the Father in you.(1John 1:5)
Be Still, and Know that I am God! I will be honored by every Nation.I will be honored throughout the world. (psalm 46:10)
